It's pleasant to sit and watch the curtains breathing at the window . . .
Ooooh, ain't it though!
Spanky, I didn't say drapes. I said curtains. They're nothing fancy, just plain ol' white muslin … though they do have lace along the bottom edge as well as just a few inches up the corners … and a nice embroided vine-with-leaves thing going on. Also white. Whazzat? Well, ya know, the last I checked curtain-gazing ain't a crime! Spanky for the love of Pete these are my own damned curtains! 🙄 Anyway … it rained all day but the weather isn't cold, so I've got the winders open, and in addition to the curtains swaying all languid like seaweed, I can also hear water dripping from the trees. That's nice too!
